Kelly Clarkson is an American artist and singer. She has become the nation's favorite following her win of the American Idol title in the initial season of the show. It brought her to fame and earned her the contract of RCA Records 19 Recordings, along with 'S Recordings. Since her debut her album, she's released several albums. From those, three reached number one on the US Billboard 200. The others were close to reaching the top position. They consider her to be one of the many of the most popular American Idol artists. As she achieved success she experimented with different topics and styles of music, often writing her own songs of her own feelings. Due to her distinctiveness and talent as a singer her work was recognized by the media and received a number of important award. She has also been awarded the Grammy Award a record three times. In addition, she has appeared on film and television. She is also the author of the children's book River Rose and the Magical Lullaby and been involved in several charities.
